Gordale Beck (Pencil Sketch)

Description

Goredale Beck flows from high up on Malham Moor, down through the narrow canyon of Goredale, over the charmingly mysterious Janet’s Foss, to this point, where it passes through Wedber Wood before flowing through open grasslands (Mantle Fields) to join the River Aire, just South of Malham.

There’s something quite magical about this woodland, and I enjoyed trying to capture its grotto-like quality.
