Description
Newton Wood is situated at the foot of Roseberry Topping, a notable rocky promontary and landmark, on the Northern edge of the North York Moors. If you can catch it at the right time of year, you’ll enjoy a spectacular display of bluebells.
I’ve sketched the location many times, some drawings of which have been painted up into bluebell wood watercolours. This drawing is typical of the type of subject available in the area, just waiting to be sketched.
It’s worth noting that this drawing was made on lightly textured paper, which is visible if you look closely at the darkest shaded areas.
This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
