Beezley Falls, Ingleton (Pencil Sketch)

Description

Beezley Falls is just one of many impressive waterfalls to be found on the ‘Ingleton Waterfalls Trail’, in Ingleton, North Yorkshire (where you’ll also find Thornton Force, Snow Falls and Pecca Twin Falls, amongst others, all accessible over a five-mile circular route.

Sketching Beezley Falls was a challenge, but I always enjoy the negative drawing aspect of such a subject, and the need to understand, and try to render as accurately as possible, the contours of the land adjacent to it. Throw in a few trees, conveniently framing the waterfall itself, and you have a ready-made composition.

This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
