Description
The Kentmere Round is just one of many great classic hiking circuits available to walkers in the Lake District. This is the lane along Crabtree Brow leading out of the hamlet of Kentmere, just before you start to ascend Garburn Pass and turn right to head North, up to the first summit, Ill Bell.
What mainly attracted me to the scene were those beautiful stone walls, leading the eye into the heart of the composition, and feeding the viewer’s curiosity as to what might be just over the brow of that hill, beyond the trees…
