Description
The village of Wycoller, in Lancashire, is famous for several reasons, the first – and probably the most well-known – is its connection to the Bronte Sisters, who lived in the area and visited the village regularly.
It’s also known for three very old, ancient bridges that cross the beck that runs through the village, one of which is featured here… the REALLY wonky one to be precise.
I love painting bridges – the older and more decrepit the better – wonky is a whole different ballgame, though…
A YouTube presentation featuring my painting process, can be seen here.
This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
