Description
The Lake District is a wonderful place to visit at all altitudes. It is indisputable that the valleys and lakes are all truly spectacular but, for me, the real magic happens when you climb to the tops of the fells, where the national park is revealed in all its glory, with fells in all directions.
This view is from Red Tarn, roughly half way between Pike O’Blisco and Great Knott, on the way up to Crinkle Crags and Bow Fell. Beyond, you can see the Langdale Pikes and Langdale Fell. It wouldn’t be half as effective, however, without Brownie Gill flowing away from us, and helping to draw the eye into the scene…
This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
