Description
This is just one of the many distinctive rock formations to be found along Derwent Edge in the Northern Peak District. Below, you can see Ladybower Reservoir, and the hills beyond are the edges of Bleaklow.
Rocks like this, with its prominent strata fascinate me, but they are also a challenge to paint, in that it is important for them to look natural and not too repetitive or geometric.
This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
