Description
2020 was a relatively sparse year for travelling, due to the ongoing pandemic and its related restrictions on movement. A few precious days during August, when we were able to visit the beautiful Mull of Galloway stand out as a particularly life-affirming break from all the world’s challenges at that time.
Gallie Craig is a notable promontary on the southern edge of the main peninsula, along which we walked. It was blustery, but wonderful, and the weather stayed good right up until our return to the visitor centre some 6 miles later.
I would describe this painting as my first major work of 2021, produced as part of a dual project for my Online Tuition Service and my YouTube Channel, the rugged cliffs and restless seas forming my favourite kind of painting – one with rocks in it!
You can read my blog post from the visit here.
This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
