Description

Kinder Scout is a wild and inhospitable place at the best of times; in winter, even more so.

I’ve always been fascinated by the juxtaposition of warm wintery sunlight and cold snowscenes. This view, of the point where the River Kinder flows over the edge of the plateau and down towards Kinder Reservoir, is, I think, a good example of the effect.

This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
