Description
Helm Crag is a modest-sized peak in the heart of the Lake District. It is easily accessible from Grasmere, giving good views across to Windermere and down into Easdale.
The nearer of the two rock formations is known as ‘The Howitzer’, while the two small rocks visible just beyond are known as ‘The Lion and the Lamb’.
I love painting rocks, and this subject gave me lots of surface textures to get my teeth into.
This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
