Description
In Part Six of the Watercolour for Beginners series, Peter Woolley explores different methods of illustrating the raw beauty of snow, and the transformation it forces upon the landscape beneath it.
The importance of shadows is emphasised throughout, as Peter takes us on a winter journey through dense, snow-covered woods, rural farmland (Winter Reflections) and over bleak moorland featuring blizzards and hungry sheep (Winter Feed).
Appropriate winter-related techniques such as the use of Masking Fluid and creating snowfall with Salt Glazing are also included.
Special Features include a gallery of work and full biography.
