Description
Waterfalls cascade dramatically over a rocky precipice alongside the small Icelandic town of Seydisfjordur.
For me, this encapsulates everything that is so brilliant about Iceland; the spectacular topography, dramatic waterfalls, all presented with an air of surprisingly understated calm. From a watercolour perspective, this subject required a fair amount of negative painting, and little finishing touches created by careful scratching-out.
This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
