Moss-Covered Barn Overlooking Ullswater (Original Watercolour)

Description

My wife and I came across this barn while walking from Patterdale to Silver Point, overlooking Ullswater, and I instantly fell in love with it. In my painting I particularly wanted to capture the roof, totally covered in bright, vibrant moss, and am satisfied that I may have succeeded. The large, fin-shaped crag in the background is St Sunday Crag.

This painting was produced while exhibiting and demonstrating at Northern Art Fair, in July 2023.

This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
