Description
My wife and I took a walk from Burnsall to Linton Falls in Wharfedale. Very much a ‘classic’ Dales hike, we saw lots of stone walls and barns, but more importantly, our turning point was the small village of Linton, famous for its falls.
This painting was produced without any pre-planning in pencil; a loose, spontaneous approach that I like to indulge in once in a while – and one that means the finished painting is as much a surprise to me as any one else.
A YouTube presentation featuring my painting process, can be seenĀ here.
This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
