Summer Shadows, Malham (Original Watercolour)

Description

A leafy lane at the height of summer in the Malham, in The Yorkshire Dales.

Everywhere you look in the Yorkshire Dales, there are narrow lanes and stone walls similar to this one. I painted this from sketches made on location in Malham, where I run an annual watercolour workshop. Most of all, I wanted it to be bursting with greens, both in the foreground trees and the distant fields.

This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
