Description
I’m always on the lookout for impromptu sketching subjects. This is the lane that goes up to Little Mell Fell from Ullswater, which also happens to pass right by the village hall, where I was tutoring a weekend painting workshop.
This sketch was made on the Sunday morning as I was waiting for students to arrive. It became a useful illustration of how to draw summer foliage, and how to vary your trees by alternating between positive and negative trunks and branches.
This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
