Description
I have spent many happy hours walking in the area near to Marske. The lane on Telfit Bank (more a farmers track really) leads the way up onto the moor, and across to the small hamlet of Helwith. This particular view is looking back down into the valley which, on this day, was cool and a little bit hazy. I’ve deliberately tried to keep the greens slightly desaturated in order to give extra impact to the foreground trees.
This painting was produced while exhibiting and demonstrating at Buxton Art & Design Fair, in September 2022.
This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
