Warm Reflections, Derwentwater (Original Watercolour)

Description

Borrowdale is one of our favourite campervan overnighters in the Lake District. This view is across from he West coast of Derwentwater; the peak you see in the distance is Blencathra, Keswick and Skiddaw would be just off to the left (out of frame).

I captured this lovely warm, evening light as we headed towards the Mary Mount Hotel (whose food I can heartily recommend), and painted it up while exhibiting and demonstrating at Patchings Art Festival in July 2022.

This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
