Description
Upper Wharfedale on a rather claggy day in October; the fields on the distant hills are only just visible and a gentle line of woodsmoke rises from the chimney of the farmhouse.
Yockenthwaite is a little hamlet consisting of just a handful of farm buildings in the upper reaches of Langstrothdale, and is what I would call ‘typical Dales scenery’, with stone walls in every direction and lots of sheep.
This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
