Description
Easedale Tarn, one of the more accessible of the Lake District tarns, is one of my favourite locations, which I’ve sketched and painted many times before.
On the face of it, it’s a relatively simple-looking subject, with clearly-defined elements. The longer we study a subject like this, though, the more we see, and consequently the more details we might be tempted to try and squeeze into a painting or drawing. In watercolour, overkill is the enemy.
You can see me painting it on this YouTube demonstration.
This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
