Description
Wasdale, in the Lake District, features the deepest lake in England, Wast Water (258 feet at its deepest point). We spent several days there, staying at the National Trust campsite in our trusty campervan, from where we explored several hiking routes. Lingmell Beck, which meanders its way down into the valley from Sty Head Tarn, tumbling over rocks and creating spectacular waterfalls at every turn, became the highlight of our trip, and provided me with the source material for this project.
You can see me painting it on this YouTube demonstration.
This painting is supplied unframed, and will be dispatched in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer.
